My mother-in-law in related to General Carlixto Garcia. Her grandmother was Carlixto Garcia's granddaughter, but she was raised by Carlixto and his wife after her parents (General Calixto's son and wife) died.

Our lineage is General Carlixto --> son Carlixto --> daughter Herminia --> daughter Herminia --> and my mother-in-law Carmen.
