My mother's surname is Aviles. I was raised in the city of Merida, in the Yucatan Peninsula, in south east Mexico. The peninsula is very close to Cuba.
My mother's gf was Felipe Aviles (born circa 1860, I don't know where) and his wife Redecinda Perez.
Does anyone have information regarding Aviles migration from Cuba to Yucatan ?
