My wife's mother is probably from that line. She was born in Havana around 1936 - her name was Elisa Capote (now Campeau). She has a brother named Baltasar Capote, also born in Cuba. Their mother was known as Lola Capote - all I know offhand is that her maiden name was Ruiz, and that she married a Capote. I have my mother-in-law's birth certificate in my files, which are presently stored for moving.
I will look it up within the month, and try to get back to you. From what Mom said, her dad was from Cuba, met Lola in Barcelona, Spain, they married and left Spain during the Revolution. Lola was pregnant for Elisa when they left Spain.
