Hola Maria,
My great grandfather was Antonio Munoz, and we have
records that he married Tecla Sotolongo from Gran Canaria
and they bore a son, Antonio Sotolongo Munoz who came
with his father to Key West around 1900 or so, but Tecla
went back to Spain, and we never heard from her again.
Antonio SR was born in Cuba in 1885, but I have been
to Havana several times, but no further information
seems to exist about him, or Tecla.
I am trying hard to find my relatives in Cuba, but
so far no luck.
Hope this sheds some light on Sotolongo, which in
Cuba is not so common.
