Seeking information on family of Jose(?) FERNANDEZ of CUBA. Family came from Spain (possibly thru Canary Islands) to Cuba between 1700 and 1800. Believe family went to Canary Islands from Spain - time unknown. Family settled in Habana and also in Camaguey (Puerto Principe). Family left Cuba between 1860-1870 and settled in Key West and Tampa, Florida. One daughter, Mercedes Fernandez, married Manuel Francisco Barranco, my grandfather, on 22 Mar 1873 at St, Mary's Star of the Sea Church in Key West.Any ascendency or descendency info will be appreciated.
