John Bitgood> AmRev Pension, 1832?

Dear friends,

A sub-site of the Windham Cty.USGenWeb site <http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Fields/4791/windhamcountyrevolutionarypensioners.html>
lists "BITGOOD: John (Windham County in 1832), R.I. not Conn. service."

Unfortunately no other data is provided. I am trying to "nail down" "Who" this John Bitgood was. From the Barbour Collection I know that a "John Bitgood" (marr. to "Lydia") was "active" in Voluntown, then part of Windham Cty., between 1796 and at least up thru 1803, having lived previously between 1780 and 1784 in Stonington, and between 1787 and 1793 in Richmond and Hopkinton, RI (based on given bp. of children).

Can anyone with access to the US Census for Windham Cty, for 1800, 1810, '20 and '30 pls help by confirming or denying that in that period there were any other "John Bitgood(s)" in Windham Cty. besides the one in Voluntown?

Any help greatly appreciated.
