Shoales/Shoals/Sholes late 1700s to 1800

In Windham County, Ct. towns of Hampton, Canterbury, Plainfield, Ashford, Brooklyn, etc. I have run into my brickwall the Shoales family. Maybe someone has had a Shoale marry into their family. If so please let me know, even one name can hold the key. I just received photos from one beautiful person, of two of the Shoales sisters.Though we dont know why they were with her families photos.

Abial Shoals b.1785 m. Mary (Polly )Whittemore bef 1808. Lived in Canterbury.
7 children: Names of families married into are Kemp, Thompson, Sweet, Weeks, Ayers.
Out of 7 only one son Orrin. He ma. Ardelia L. Sweet Oct 10 1831 Canterbury, Ct.
They had 8 children. Three of the sons died in the civil war. His children married into the Angell, Johnson, Child families.
Will supply dates, and first names if anyone is interested or may have a lead.
