Appreciate lookup in "Non-military Service in the Revolutionary War from Extracts of Connecticut Town Council Meetings, 1774-1784., CT. DAR, 1965 (CSL call number HistRef E 263. C5, 1965) for WEBB, Stephen, b. Oct. 4, 1742, d. Dec. 10, 1819, operated large shoe manufactory in northern part of parrish, all Scotland, CT. Trying to establish patriotism to the American cause during RevWar. DAR discredits their own records on his military service, so it's back to square one. Any help appreciated.

Len in MD.
