Were there any Windham & Card families that lived in early Windham Co. that migrated to MD. before 1760? My 4xgreat-grandparents were George Windham & Mary Card. They married on 11 Dec.1783 in All Faith's Parish,St.Mary's Co.,MD.. The Windham's were from Prince Georges Co.,MD. where George was born 2 May 1759-60 the s/o William Wyndham & Elizabeth Morris. Mary Card was born in St.Mary's Co.,MD. on 10 Dec.1764 to unknown parents. She had at least one sister Ann & a possible brother Benson.
George & Mary Card Windham's children were:
1.Thomas Card b.28 Dec.1784, St.Mary's Co.,MD.
2.William b.28 Jan.1787, Loudoun Co.,VA.
3.Harriot b.18 Jan.1789, Loudoun Co.,VA.
4.&5.twins--Mary & George b.23 April 1791, Loudoun Co.,VA.
6.Ann--died as a baby 6 Aug.1794 in Loudoun Co.,VA.
7.Elizabeth b.13 June 1795, Loudoun Co.,VA.
8.&9.--twins Meriah(my line)& Hezekiah b.25 May 1797, Loudoun Co.,VA.
10.Sarah b.18 March 1800, Loudoun Co.,VA.
11.Benson Card died as a baby Oct.1805, Loudoun Co.,VA.
The Windham's moved next to Belmont Co.,OH.,after the death of their baby Benson in 1805,where George & Mary Windham died & are buried.
Meriah"Maria"Windham married William Bowie 30 June 1820 in Belmont Co.,OH..
