There was a 4 April 1999 query on this board regarding Mary Frances Withey, b. July 1857 Killingly, Windham Co. CT, d/o Benjamin and Rachel (Moffett) Withey. Mary F. married Buell Brigham Nye and the researcher asked for information on Mary F. The query seems to have disappeared, but I post the answer in case the person who posted it comes back. Benjamin Withey was b.. 1 Oct. 1824 Brooklyn, CT, the son of James S. and Huldah (Niles) Withey; they married 2 July 1820 Pomfret, CT. and had at least 10 children born between 1821 and 1838. In this order, Mary L., Benjamin, Hannah C., Jane E. Sarah A., Lucy Frances, Laura C., Abby W., Ellen M. and James Anson.
I can not name the parents of either James S. or Huldah and would be pleased to receive information on either.
