I'm not related as I said before, just trying to help. The only thing that I found is as follows: From Vol. # VII, page 391 of the Compendium of American Genealogy 1600-1800

Ruth Shepard-1742-1806, m. Gen. Simon Spalding 1742-1814 of Plainfield, CT to Wyoming Valley @ 1771 to Seshequin PA 1783
She was dau. of LT. Isaac Shepard 16?? (couldn't read it) m. Hannah Spaldind (Jos. 6 m Mercy or Mary Jewell dau. of Thomas Jewell.
He was son of Isaac Shepard 1639-76 b. Weymouth, MA, killed by Indians at Nashoba nr. Concord, MA m. 1667 Mary Smedley (b. 1648, Baptiste (10)

Isaac Shepard was s. of Ralph Shepard

Hope this helps
Elaine :-)
