Two sons of Frederick and Persis Brown, Joseph Stewart(b.1806) and Frederick(b.1801) owned a factory(1850's) in Wethersfield. They along with their siblngs were born in Hampton CT. The name of the factory is the Curtiss Manufacturing Co.(german silver). Frederick died in CT in the 1860's, Joseph went on to NYC then apparently San Francisco. This is the part I cannot prove. Anyone with information on this family would be greatly appreciated. Joseph married Julia May and had a son, Steward. He lived in Brooklyn with his wife, Isabelle Wikie.
