Woodstock Orphan (?) Robert Chandler

A boy named Robert Chandler resided in Woodstock for some time before he was given a guardian at the age of 15 years. Who were his parents? Did they die? Did they abandon him?

With whom did he reside if he had no parents? Is he the same Robert Chandler, of Woodstock, who later served in the 2nd Connecticut Regiment during the Revolutionary War, and who after the war became a physician?
