Looking for parents of Dr. Robert Chandler, who was born 1759/60 in Woodstock, Windham county, Connecticut, and who died in 1831 in Gibson, Susquehanna county, Pennsylvania. He married (1) Sarah/Sally/Salla Walker, and (2) Rhoda. All children by Sarah. He served in the Revolutionary War in a Connecticut regiment and may have served in the War of 1812. He is believed to have received his medical education in New York after the Revolutionary War. He appears to have had a practice in Dutchess county, New York, for a number of years before moving to Gibson, He resided in Dover, New York, for a time.
