Hi, Wanda,

I have much documented data on the descendants of Amos Leach and his wife, Mercy Martin, of Windham, Connecticut, mostly on those who lived in Fletcher and Fairfield, Vermont. I am a native of East Fairfield, where many of the Leach families lived. Amos Leach (grandson of Amos Leach and Mercy Martin) and his wives, Martha Wanzer and Hannah Page, are buried in the Leach-Fairview Cemetery on Lapland Road (the road that leads from the village of East Fairfield to Fletcher and Fairfax) about 2.5 miles from the village and about 0.5 miles from my boyhood home. My closest Leach ancestor was Daniel Leach, son of Joseph Leach, son of Amos Leach (second), son of John Leach, son of Amos Leach and Mercy Martin.

If you would like more on these Leach's, I can email a GEDCOM file attachment to a message directly to you.

Incidentally, Mercy Martin is a gg daughter of George Martin and his wife, Susanna (North), who was one of five women executed by hanging on July 19, 1692 in Salem on the charge of witchcraft (which, it seems, makes me about 0.1 percent "warlock").
