This is the library in Manchester CT. I know they have copies of both the Hartford Courant and Journal Inquirer obits. Also, there is a link on this page to the CT State Library, they have a huge genealogical department.
Send the library a few bucks for their new book fund and I'm sure they will look it up for you. If I was there, I'd get it for you myself, but I'm living in Mexico, so the commute would be tough.
