You might start with the 1790 census of Saratoga County, because he was married there in 1791. It just so happens I took a look, there are three Montgomery's listed, Elijah (possibly a brother of Elias) Margaret and William. Also found in Sangerfield Cemetery this entry, Montgomery, Elias D Nov 21, 1818 in his 52nd year. Also in Clifton Park Cemetery three entries of interest. Montgomery, Elias 34y or 35 y 19 Nov 1840, probably your Elias's son. Second entry Montgomery, Lydia 73y 22 Jan 1846, wife of Elias Montgomery, Abijah Peck (Her second husband). Third entry Peck, Abijah Rev. 91y 12 Nov 1848 husband of Mindwell Close & Lydia (Campbell) Montgomery. Happy Hunting!! Terry!!
