Mehitable Smith (1822-1903) m. Rufus Weeks (1820-1864)in Eastford, CT 1839. Amos Weeks m. Rachel Smith in Hampton 4/28/1833. Rufus d. as pow during the civil war; Amos d 1845 supposedly Ashford (no record); Mehitable d. in Noank. Widows Mehitable and Rachel lived for quite a time in Noank. I have tons of information on their descendents but can't find the connection between Rufus & Amos or Mehitable and Rachel. Can anyone help?
