Oops, sorry. I see you do have your grandmother's name. I mean no offense but, are you sure you're spelling the surname correctly? I've been poking around on some sites for you and I'm not finding much at all w/ that spelling for either Lila Derlien, Paul Derlien or just the surname Derlien itself. There were only 7 or so w/ that surname in the SSDI one of them is Paul Derlien, he's b. 1905 d. 12/1982 SSN issued in CA bet. 1952-53 last residence Honolulu HI But that's about all I've been able to find.

Where did you get the information regarding your grandmother's name and place/cause of death? Try calling the newspaper and speaking with the librarian. They're very kind there and are usually willing to do whatever they can to accomodate you.
