Hello,
Looking for Sally's family in New London, New London or possibly Groton, New London. Sally married Samuel Plumb, son of Green and Margaret (Bolles) Plumb 27 Aug 1785 (BARBOUR and N.L. VITAL STATS). She was born 16 Jun 1764 in New London and died 9 Apr 1841 in Williamstown, Oswego, New York (birth according to H.B. Plumb in the PLUMB BOOK, and death according to her stone in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown, Oswego). Samuel & Sally's oldest child, Sarah (Sally) was born in New London 13 Oct 1786, and they had at least 7 other children born in either Connecticut or New York.
I'm presently looking at Samuel Ames, who married an Unknown CHAPPELL in Dec 1752 (HEMPSTEAD); Daniel Ames (Emms), son of John Ames (Emms), Jr., baptized 12 Oct 1729 (HEMPSTEAD); and John Eams son of John born 11 Sept 1737 (HEMPSTEAD). Can anyone help me with this family. Thanks,
