Delight Champlin widow of Amariah Stanton

Amariah Stanton married Delight Champlin in 1750 in Stonington, CT. They had two children, Delight who died shortly thereafter, and Amariah Jr, whose line is well traced. Amariah Sr. died in 1754. Does anyone know what happened to his widow? There is a tradition that Delight, the wife of David Utley, born about 1731, probably Connecticut; died 1827, Oneida Co, NY, was originally a Champlin. Utley trees list her as the daughter of Joshua and Bridget (Thompson) Champlin. However, their daughter Delight was born in 1855 and married Ebenezer Cary. Did Delight Cahmplin Stanton go to Claverack, NY, and marry David? What was her family of origin? The House of Champlin lists her without attachment or followup, just as she is in the Stonington records and the Stanton book.
