William McFall of Woodbridge, Montville, CT

William McFall is listed in the 1790 and 1800 censuses, first in Woodbridge, then in Montville. By 1800, he and his wife (I assume) were ove 45. There are no McFalls in the 1810 New London censuses, at least not that I can find.
I have an ancestor named Daniel Fall, b in CT in 1790, living in Monroe County, NY, in 1832, when he died. In later records of the family, it is said that the original family name was McFall, and William is the only McFall I find in CT. Anyone have any information on the family? Thanks.
