study of the Main/Maine surname and other
variations.
Of the 15 participants so far, four are
believed to descendants of the Stonington Main(e)
family. Another group of four participants appear
to be from a separate line out of Virginia.
More MAIN/MAINE/MAYNE surnamed males are sought
for this Y DNA study to help those of us that had
Aspinwall or other authors miss our ancestors.
