Greetings All,
Hopefully someone can help me out here.
Am looking for the history of Col. Zebulon Butler's 2nd Regt. of the Connecticut Line from Christmas 1777 on to October of 1778 and also looking for a regimental history of the 1st Co. of the 12th Connecticut Regt. from October of 1778 to the close of the War in 1783 and service thereafter.
Of sought interest is engagements fought, and actions during the War.
I know nothing of the actions of the 12th CT.
Also interested in learning more abt. the Committees formed to raise recruits and collect bounty in Connecticut; particularly Lebanon,CT.
