Thanks for the tip. I tried all Hamden census sheets and saw no mention of Cherry Ann or Bolcar. Maybe this will work. Thomas and wife Annie were still in New Haven for the 1930 census. Their son Thomas Henry Bolcar was born in 1899 (think on Long island). There has been at least another Thomas Henry Bolcar since then. The family name started out in Slovak Hungary as Bolczar.
