I'm not related, but found some information for you::

James W. Brede jr World War 1 Draft Registration card, filled out on Aug 24, 1918, James was born June 6, 1897 in Middletown, Ct. His father James W. Brede is his nearest relative to contact. He was born in Aberdeen, Mississippi. Both James jr and his father live at 36 Grove St, Middletown.
You could contact The Middletown Library to see if he's listed in The Middletown City Directory between 1918 and 1920. Sometimes they give dates of death.

Familysearch.org has Martha E. Brede Midgley born 1852, died 1894. She was married to Richard H. Midgley and is buried in Middletown, Ct.
Richard is in The 1877 and 1878 Middletown City Directory, he was a bartender. He was born in 1849 and died in 1878 and is also buried in Middletown.

Martha is in the 1880 Middletown Census, listed as Mattie Midgley and living with her husbands family.
