I am looking for information on Ephraim Griswold b. July 03, 1729 in East Haddam, Middlesex, Connecticut. He moved to Lansingburgh, Rensselaer Co., NY and in 1791 he went to Fort Ann, Washington Co., NY where he built a gristmill with his son-in-law Elisha M. Forbes. He had a son named Jabez Griswold b. June 08, 1757 who married Mary 'Polly' Pruitt. I do show that Ephraim and Jabez were in the Lansingburgh company of Col. Stephen I. Schuyler's Militia, Feb. 17, 1777 and that his grandson Squire Griswold was b. in Ft. Ann August 17, 1798. Any help with this family is appreciated.
