I am researching the Lewis branch of my family

John Lewis m. Elizabeth Ratcliffe in Cheshire,Eng.
They emigrated 1868 and 1870 respectively. Elizabeth did go back to England for late 1870's until 1881.
John worked in the quarries..then as a sexton.
Children:
Samuel Lewis b. Oct 1872 CT a carpenter
he married Lucy ? and had two sons, Paul and Elton.
Ada Lewis b. Feb 1875 CT married a Mr.Martin and moved to
California.
Almira Lewis b. Aug 1877 Halton,Cheshire. She married
a Mr. Daniels and moved to California
May Lewis b. May 1882 CT
Elizabeth Lewis b. Jan 1885 CT
Victoria F. Lewis b. Jul 1887 CT
Ethel Lewis b. Jun 1890 CT
Mildred Lewis b. Apr 1894 CT

The family lived in Portland, CT in 1870, Middletown, CT around 1900. Samuel and his family lived in Cromwell, CT in 1930.

Any possible connections appreciated. Elizabeth Ratcliffe was the sister of my Great Great Grandfather, Thomas Ratcliffe. Thier parents were Samuel Ratcliffe and Margaret Pilling of Cheshire, Eng. I have extensive Ratcliffe info.
