In 1830 Joshua Smith, an Indian, was convicted of a crime in Haddam Ct. In May 1841, from Wethersfield Ct, he petitioned the state for a pardon. He mentioned a wife, no name given. Does anyone have information on Joshua Smith's parents,wife,siblings,children or Tribe?
