Hello Karen!
This is so exciting!Letetia Loiselle was my great-grandmother.I never knew her, but my mother, Kathleen Brown McCarthy (wife of William3) did.Sadly, my mom died last fall, but she mentioned running the gantlet of three rather daunting ladies:Letetia, and my other great-grandmother, Annie Hines McCarthy, mother of Timothy, and Annie's sister, Margaret Hines, all of whom lived in 1930 in the same family house on Sterling Street, owned by Annie.Letetia lived with Dorothy (who was my "Grandma Dot") and my Grandpa Tim (who died long before I was born in 1953), and the three sons of Gen.3.Annie and Margaret lived with Annie's second son, Thomas, my Great-Uncle Tom.Dorothy and son Robert and Great-Uncle Tom lived together in the end, until Tom died in (about) 1969.William3 and Kathleen (Kay) had 5 children, Jeanine (adopted), Christine, Brian, Justin, and MaryPat.Robert's two children, James and Theresa, lived with us, after his marriage (to Sabina) ended.Thomas(3ii) married Marie, and had two children, Timmy and a daughter. Are we cousins???I've been working on the McCarthy line--Annie and her Timothy immig. from Ireland in 1873 and 1880, resp.
I'd love to know more about the Loiselle line.Do you know if Dorothy had any sisters or brothers? Thanks so much for writing!Best regards, Chris
