As you can see I am a Bentley, who I have been lead to believe is descended from David Bentley and Ann (Baldwin) Bentley. I do not believe you will ever find them in a CT cemetery, as they moved to Nova Scotia, Canada about 1761. They were amongst a group known as the New England Planters (they were pre-Loyalists)who took up land in Cornwallis Township (now Kings County), near what is now the town of Canning. I grew up in Kings County, now live in New York state. I do not have a complete genealogy, but I can trace my lineage, and have fairly extensive notes on the family. I am trying to learn more about the early New England ancestors.
