Stanley Schilling, 77, of East Ridge Rd., a former member of the police department here, died Sunday after a long illness. He was a native of New York City but resided here most of his life. He served as a regular policeman for 11 years and had also been a employee of the Goodyear Rubber Co. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Jansky Schilling; three sons, Raymond and Edward Schilling of this city and Charles Schilling of Durham; one daughter, Mrs. William Brodil of New York City and four grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. and at St Francis of Assisi Church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m.

Mrs Mary T. Schilling, of East Ridge Road, widow of Stanley Schilling, died Saturday night in Middlesex Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bohemia, the daughter of the late Anton and Mary Jansky and had been a resident of this city for many years. She leaves three sons, Raymond and Edward Schilling of this city and Charles Schilling of Durham; a daughter, Mrs. William Brodil of New York City; a sister, Mrs. Antoinette Soltys of Babylon, L.I.; four grandchildren and a great grandchild. The funeral will be held from the Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., at 8;15 a.m. Wednesday with a Solemn High Mass of Requiem to be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
