Hello. Do you know if he was raised in Walton, NY?

According to the book named below, there was a Caleb Benedict of New Canaan, CT who moved to Walton, New York in 1797 with his second wife, Sarah Seymour, and their children. One of the sons was named Seymour Benedict, born 1792 in New Canaan, CT.

Found in:
The story of the Benedicts : a genealogy of the Benedict family for the descendants of Ira and Seely Benedict of the seventh generation in America.
Compiled by: Lyle L. Benedict
Printed in Belmont, Wis.,by Success Press, 1939, 31 pgs.
pages 7 and 8

If you haven't seen this before, I can email the two pages to you.

I am not related.
