Thank you so much for your reply.

From another researcher I found Stephen Whedon listed as married to Sarah ?. Children Mary Ann, Stephen, William, Hannah, Cynthia and George. Stephen’s parents were listed as William Whedon , b. 1752 North Branford, New Haven, CT and Mary Farnum b. 1756 North Branford, New Haven, CT. (I’m questioning this connection)

In addition, I have a Biographical snapshot of James Bayless ( Mary Ann’s son), which states “In 1824, Nathaniel Bayless married miss Mary A. Whedon, who was born in New York, in March 1806 and came to Jefferson County when 12 years of age with her father, Stephen Whedon”

Also, I have and Obituary for George (Stephen’s son) from the Madison Courier May 27 1897 which states” Mr. Whedon who came here (Madison, Indiana) with a party of Methodists when he was 1 year old (1817) from Onondaga County, New York”

I have an additional article from the Madison Courier May 31, 1897 regarding George’s death which states “There was but very little of Madison when he was brought here by his parents “. George was born in 1816 in New York.
Based on the dates of birth I have for Stephen’s children, I deduced the following.

Name: Stephen Wheadon
Home in 1810 (City, County, State): Onondaga, New York
Free White Persons - Males - Under 10: 1 (Stephen A.) 1 year
Free White Persons - Males - 26 thru 44 : 1 (Stephen father) 34
Free White Persons - Females - Under 10: 1 (Mary Ann) 4years
Free White Persons - Females - 16 thru 25: 1 (Mother unsure of her name)
Number of Household Members Under 16: 2
Number of Household Members Over 25: 1
Number of Household Members: 4

Also on this census is Denison Wheadon and Wm Wheadon. (Stephen’s father?)
On a bit or research I found Denison Whedon born 1750 in Easthampton, Connecticut and died in Onondaga, New York. Perhaps a connection somehow.

I deduced the following:

1820 Census Stephen Wheeden (Transcription error?)
Home in 1820 (City, County, State): Jefferson, Indiana
Free White Persons - Males – Under 10: 2 (George) 6 years, (William) 9 years
Free White Persons - Males – 10 thru 15: 1 (Stephen A) 10/11
Free White Persons - Males - 26 thru 44 : 1 (Stephen father) 44
Free White Persons - Females - Under 10: 2 (Hannah) 7 years, (Cynthia) 5 years
Free White Persons - Females – 10 thru 15:1 (Mary Ann ) 14 years
Free White Persons - Females - 26 thru 44: 1 (Mother?)

1830 Census Lancaster, Jefferson, Indiana
1850 Census Madison, Indiana Stephen Whedon listed with his Daughter Hannah (Capito) born in NY, Stephen's age 72 born in Connecticut
1860 Census Madison, Indiana -- has Stephen’s birthplace as Connecticut

Stephen died a few months after the 1860 Census. Headstone in Bayless Cemetery states birth March 11, 1776 death Sept 28, 1860.
