David, While looking for Maggie after 1880, i did find where the family was before 1880. They show in the town of New Haven in 1860 & 1870,is listed as follows
Patrick 36
Mary 33
Mary Ann 6
William 4
Ellen 3
Catherine (Katie)2
Margaret (Maggie) 9/12

Could be the family moved back to New Haven after 1880
Still looking Buck
