I found John H. and Jennie V. Bryant in The Danbury City Directories until 1952. Jennie wasn't listed in the 1954 book, but I found her in the Ct Death Index. She was born in 1886, was age 67 when she died in 1953 and was listed as negro. John H. Bryant died in 1967, was 85 years old and also listed as negro, so I don't think Jennie Bryant was the Vina you are looking for.
