I believe you are correct ,that Rossania is the second Wife . You can find a Nancy Lindsley in the 1870 census in hamden ct ,New Haven co. I believe Fredick was living in Hamden as well in younger years,because i believe his Father was Chauncey Johnson 9/24/1774,son of Ephraim & Lois Hall .This chauncey shows up in 1810 living in Hamden. you will notice the Fredrick named a Son Chauncey ,
It will be hard to prove it because of the old censuses but the 1810 shows Chauncey having a number of children.
In the 1880 ,census Fredrick is the Fatherin law ,so the Wife Nellie 1844 must be his Daughter,but she does not show as on of his Children ,Cornelia is 1844-5. will take a look to see where Nellie 1844 came from . Seeya Buck
