Albert,
Thanks for that quick and positive response to my posting.
She must have been adopted or in some other way related to the Charter family. To see described as a daughter creates the family situation. You may also have noticed my posting re Lizzie Chambers with a Moodey family at Windsor Locks, Hartford. Christine and Lizzie were sisters and on a family line that ground to a halt in Scotland. Their parents (Christopher and Mary Chambers) do not seem to feature on 1910 or 1920 census in USA? I had suspected their parents and possibly maternal grandparents (Thomas Wiggins and Margaret Wiggins nee Dempsey) had gone to USA from Dalmellington, Ayrshire, Scotland. Your info makes further enquiry more detailed. All is now being revealed.Connecticut seems to be a common denominator for them both. Thanks a lot.
Kind regards
YES - I would love a copy of the marriage notice - tonybonsai@yahoo.co.uk
