James Havelock Morton & Mary(Walton)Morton came from Bedford,England about 1853-54 to New York State(possibly Newburg,NY) Here their son Charles Walton Morton Was born.This family were Ironmongers(Hardware Business People)After some time they all moved to Burlington,Iowa & started a Hardware Business(James Morton & Son Co. Later Charles Walton Morton Married Sarah Turner(Sister of Mary (Turner)Salter very well known in coral music & teaching)Again This Morton Family Moved to Omaha,Nebraska & opened a Hardware business-James Morton & Son Co.I am hoping that someone connects to this,as we are trying to find out more about Charles Walton Morton & his birth place in NY.This Morton had one son Charles Walton Morton Jr-1898.& one daughter Dorothy both born in Omaha,Nebraska. Thank you!
