Hello again. For some reason you wrote in your original query that you found Horace W. Atwood in the 1910 census and that he died in 1930, now that I know that was incorrect information, I was able to find Horace's 1905 death notice in four upstate NY newspapers. This is very likely the correct Horace W. Atwood because his son Calvin's 1931 death notice shows that he also was interred in Mt. Adnah cemetery. So... now that you know when and where Horace died, I stand by my original advice, send for his death certificate. Send to Fulton or to the NY State Dept. of Health. Just because you couldn't find Horace in a death index doesn't mean that they don't have his death certificate on file, there's only one way to find out.
Good luck.

Fulton Times, May 1905
Horace W. Atwood, aged 85, died at his home on the Chase road, two miles west of Fulton on Monday. The funeral will be held from the home on Thursday at 2 o'clock. Interment in Mt. Adnah.

Oswego Daily Palladium, Wednesday May 3, 1905
