Baxter, Ford and Jane Doane... BIG Brick Wall

All right, first I want to thank all the people who have helped me in the past. I have just realized that I have been looking for these 3 families for 9 years and have not made a dent. Like I said, my Dad was contacted by certified mail in the early 1990's that he was needed to come back to Connecticut to help his "Family" out, Dad called and asked if they could help him care for Mother (who was dying) and they said NO. Now I need your help to help solve this problem. I cannot find these people, You found us now help me find you. Dad died in 2006, he knew that the letter was send because his Grandmother was Emma Ford. Help me let Dad rest in peace.....
Emma was the daughter of Stephen Ford, Stephen's parents are unknown to us, he lived with a family called Kingsley in 1850 in Lebanon, from there to his death, we know all we need to know his family and where he came from. I have researched all Ford Families from Connecticut in the years 1830 to 1850 and they are NOT Stephen's family.
His wife was Elizabeth Baxter, her Dad was Malachi Baxter, we have found all census and etc. on him except for his parents and where he came from.I believe that he was born in Thompson or Pomfret in 1797.
And last Jane, wife of Joseph Doane, We know that she was baptised at a late age in life, we cannot find their marriage or her birth or her real last name, I have debated on a DNA but I am NOT the daughter of the daughter's etc
PLEASE help
