You're referring to "Old St. Mary's Cemetery" in New Britain, which was begun ca 1850 and was used mostly until ca 1910 when the a new St. Mary's Cemetery was begun on Stanley Street, located about a mile away from the old one.The old cemetery is at the top of "Dublin Hill" (the old Irish neighborhood) accessed from Lasalle Street opposite the intersection with McClintock Road, via a driveway next to where my wife's mother grew up in 1900-1925. Records of burials in the old cemetery are avaiable, without charge, by writing to: St. Mary's Cemetery, 1309 Stanley Street, New Britain, CT06051Just give them the last names of the families you are interested in, and they will send you a copies of the neatly typed file records that list names/ages/plot number for all persons buried in those plots. In response to my request in 2006, I got records of our Grace family ancestors buried in the old cemetery between 1863 and 1910. Good luck.
