From the Clyde NY Democrat Herald (Jan. 20, 1893 or 94, can't read it):

OBITUARY JULIUS BAKER
Early yesterday morning occurred the death of Julius Baker of Rose, aged 86 years. He was born in Connecticut in 1810 and moved to Willell (?), Cayuga county after his marriage and to North Rose in 1860. A widow and four children survive.

Thanks to Kathy for this lookup.

My note:
Who were the parents of Julius BAKER?
His known siblings were:
1) Miss BAKER m. J. BRIGGS of North Rose, Wayne, NY in 1890,
2) Miss BAKER m. William MERSEAU of Cayuga, NY in 1890, and
3) Charles A. BAKER b. ca 1815 Petersborugh, Madison Co., NY, left at age 17 y.o., m. Lavinia S. CHAPIN and d. 17 Aug. 1890 in Auburn, Cayuga, NY and is buried at For or Fox Hill Cemetery.
I have his obituary.
I have censuses for 1850, 1860 in Aurelius, Cayuga Co., NY, and 1870, 1880 in Rose, Wayne Co., NY.

Julius BAKER's wife, Eliza LEONARD [b. ca 1812 Westmoreland, Oneida Co., NY], was my maternal 3 great grand aunt. She died after Jan. 19, 1893-4.

Their children were: George, Jerome, Nelson m Helen BARRETT, and Mary Jane m. Ambrose COPEMAN.
