Martha McAuliffe was the daughter of Daniel McAuliffe and Ellen Prendeville. Her parents remained in Ireland.

Daniel McAuliffe parents were Michael McAuliffe and Martha O'Connell this is where the name Martha comes in.

Martha McAuliffe grew up in Glenlara, Newmarket, Co.Cork, Ireland.

I believe she arrived in New York 24 April 1923.
