Hello There

I've found a lot of research posted on the internet about my first Pringle Ancestor to the Colonies. His name was William Pringle. Some say he was born while others say he was christened on July 31, 1628 in Stowe Midlothian, Scotland. All say his father’s name was James Pringle born c. 1602 in Stow, Midlothian, Scotland and his mother is unknown. I am trying to find if anyone has official birth or Christening records documenting William Pringle's date of birth, christening and hopefully his parents James and his unknown mother.
