The Genealogy Club of Newtown will meet on Wednesday, January 9th at 7:00 pm at the C.H.Booth Library meeting room in Newtown, CT. Cathy Vaneria of Connecticut Photographics will be the speaker, and her topic is “Getting the Most from your Digital Camera”. All are welcome to attend.
Cathy Vaneria is the president and co-owner of Connecticut Photographics in Danbury. She has taught at WestConn and has studied digital photography as part of a Master of Fine Arts program. She also has an interest in photo preservation. The program will cover the basics of using a digital camera, and how it can be used to enhance genealogy research.
The Genealogy Club meets the second Wednesday of each month, and is open to anyone interested in family history. Refreshments provided. Call 426-1840 for info.
