I am researching this couple. If you have any information to share, please contact me.
Soloman and Hannah had a son, Soloman Smith, born 22 Oct 1785 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He died in Perry Alabama. I'm curious to know of any siblings, any life experiences anyone may know regarding this family and how does one end up in Alabama when you are born in South Carolina.
I'm a newbie regarding genealogy, but want to get up to speed as fast as I can. I'm sure I'm overlooking the obvious sometimes. At any rate, Soloman Smith (b: abt 1760 in Connecticut) appears to have no information listed anywhere I can find with regards to parents, or any family before him. Any suggestions as to where to start my search?
