I am looking for information about Isaac OAKES in Connecticut. I know he was born there (abt 1800) but not where, or who his family was. I know he left there and married in Rutherford, Tennessee, to Elizabeth BROYLES in Oct 16, 1823. From his marraige and his childrens births, I know he was in Tennessee from atleast 1823-1831. He died in Fayette, Alabama in Nov 1850. It is said that he is buried in Shiloh Cemetary;in Alabama, in an unmarked grave.

If anyone has any information that might help me; I would greatly appreciate it.
