Many Middletown Town/County Origin of Births listed in 1920 Census

Many of the census entries (done by census taker John S. Lachowicz) in the 1920 Middletown, Middlesex Co; CT have the towns/counties from where people were born in their County.
Example: Place of Birth: "KILDARE", Ireland.
Apparently Mr Lachowicz wrote them in, someone realized his mistake and tried to cross them out. Many are very legible when magnified.
I am sure Mr. Lachowicz never realized he would make so many family historians happy with his mistake.
I hope this helps some Middletown, CT researchers.
