census mystery
Where is my Fraher family?
I am looking for a Mary Agnes Fraher in the 1880 US census.I have found her after her marriage in other US census records. For the 1880 census, I have looked on www.ancestry.com, with no luck finding Mary or her family.
Mary should be about 4 years old, she should have a sister Sarah who should be about 2 and another sister Elizabeth who would be a month or two, if she shows up at allI don't know about any other siblings, but there could be more.Mary's father is beleived to be a John Fraher, from Ireland. Her mother is believed to be Mary, from Ireland.
Mary Agnes Fraher's obituary indicates she was a native of Port Henry, NY.Although, later census records indicate she was born in Connecticut, which is where she spent almost all of her life.
If anyone can help me solve this mystery as to where my Fraher family is in the 1880 US Census, I would be very greatful if you were to post a reply to this message.
Thanks, Jim
